Exceptions
The use of non-standardized constructions must be specifically tested.
Examples of exceptions:
- a damper may only be used in an asymmetrical shaft wall (with plasterboards on one side only) if this situation was specifically tested.
- a damper may only be mounted in a metal stud plasterboard wall with A plasterboard according to EN 520 (not fire resistant) if this has been specifically tested.
